Covered in prayer

I was given a prayer cloth many many years ago and have always felt such an attachment to it. I was told that it was handpicked especially for me....and if you will notice below in the pictures..there are angels all over it.

I love to listen to music and right under the dove, is an applique that says:

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord" Psalm 100

I've used this often and tonight will lay this on top of my son's bed. I think it is so very important to prayer over our children~~and now days my children are always in a hurry for me to pray over them and with them. Little will he know, with this prayer cloth, I will be praying over him all night.(smile)

This prayer cloth has been prayed over and Blessed at a Healing Mass.

Be not afraid~
For I , the Lord~
Am with you, always~

Hoping you all have a great weekend. We don't have a lot planned, maybe catch up on a few movies.

poptarts & milk

Eating a strawberry frosted pop tart and drinking a small glass of milk (milk is not my favorite) and enjoying reading many many blogs tonight.

Many thanks for those of you stopping by and praying for Kayleigh. This precious baby has been through so many hurdles and now may be getting closer to her forever home. I pray for this family daily.

This morning after church, we went to Academy Sports store and bought more tennis balls ( did I tell ya we've picked up tennis) and got a few more shorts for the boys'. Later on, Joe and I were sitting outside talking about how we have less than 5 years with our children being home. Josh talks daily about playing football for college and Jacob talks about not going to college, just getting a job. (sigh).
We started talking about how we spend so much money on our children...and how we wonder if they take what we buy them for granted. We are sending Josh to a personal football trainer 4 days a week, we've signed him up for summer school so he can get ahead so his Senior year won't be as stressful..which we have to pay for, he also needs new gear for football...oh yeah..he wants to go shopping for "summer" clothes and now Jacob tells us he wants to try out for track next year. What?!? Does it ever end???? I'm hoping Josh will be able to get a job next summer.
I would love to go shopping for ME....I would like to buy new pillows and a rug for the living room....oh glory...does it ever end?!?!?

I remind myself daily...that I'm thankful for what I have and feel bad for "wanting".
Is it okay to want? I'm so glad that my Lord & Savior knows me and supplies us for what we need....everyday. God is so good to me!

Guess I'm just rambling....see what eating pop tarts at 11:30 at night will do to your mind?

Hoping you all have a wonderful Monday~~~

Change is coming

It's Monday and boy is it a lazy Monday.

Hoping everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday.

Ok, for those of you that think my blog is busy....well your right...so guess what??? Change is coming to this blog soon. I'm actually gonna go out on a whim and pay someone to do it up. I've just got to come up with something I like.

So, if you catch me on your blog and not leaving a comment....I'm just browsing to get some ideas. Ok, back to housework.

The boys will be home soon.

Bluebonnets

In Texas, this time of year, the Bluebonnets are everywhere. If you've never seen this state flower up close, it is beautiful. It's almost as if the flower has a purple hue to it. Now that the kids are older, it's sort of hard to make them sit in a field of them and have their picture taken...so Oscar, our dog, took their place. Enjoy!

(here he was hopping around like a bunny)

My camera does no justice in the true deep velvet color of these flowers.

Cardboard Testimonies

I'm sure we can all put together our own "cardboard testimony". Praising God...always! (REMEMBER TO MUTE MY MUSIC BELOW)
