In Texas, this time of year, the Bluebonnets are everywhere. If you've never seen this state flower up close, it is beautiful. It's almost as if the flower has a purple hue to it. Now that the kids are older, it's sort of hard to make them sit in a field of them and have their picture taken...so Oscar, our dog, took their place. Enjoy!

My camera does no justice in the true deep velvet color of these flowers.

WOW! These bluebonnets are BEAUTIFUL! Do you know that I have not seen bluebonnets at all where I am. It's almost worth a trip to come where you are to take some photos of my girls in these.
